By Word of Mouth is family owned business offering a quality one stop shop to the corporate clients, private clients and Events throughout Africa. The operating divisions include Catering, Design, Décor & Event Rental, Staffing, Beverage, Sports, Floral Design, and our own Venue.

The business was established by Karen Short, as a small catering company with WOW ideas, in the late 1980’s after she returned from working and studying in London. She started the company with two local people, who are in fact still in the employ of the business. The business grew year after year and has now got over 100 staff members, a fleet of trucks and is a well established brand.

The business ethos is based on family values, which allows our people to develop themselves thought this establishment. Our attention to detail is renowned and is evident across every aspect of our work. Our energy, passion and pride bring exceptional value to our Clients. We also are aware that our reputation rests upon the complete satisfaction of our Clients and we need to work hard, as a team to always meet the standards and needs of each individual Client.
